APPLICATION OF PRECONCENTRATION METHODOLOGIES TO DETERMINATION OF ARSENIC(III), ARSENIC(V) AND TOTAL ARSENIC IN LEAVES OF THE PEACH-TREE BY X-RAY-FLUORESCENCE

摘要
We propose a method for the determination of Arsenic (III), (V) and total As in plant material (peach tree), using samples prepared by acid digestion. The arsenic was separated from solution by preconcentration with sodium dibenzylditiocarbamate (DBDTC) and coprecipitation with iron hydroxide. The precipitate was collected by filtration and the fitter was examined directly in the wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The detection limit found was 0.1 ppm. The accuracy and precisione was greater than 5%. This quick and simple method could be suitable big scale, toxicological studies on plants.
