摘要
Currently the Brazilian energy matrix is considered clean when compared the matrix of other countries. In recent years there has been a diversification in primary sources, reducing dependence on oil, using hydroelectricity and, more recently, biomass to generate electricity. Through the survey of secondary data, this paper presents a reflection on the water availability for electricity generation. It appears that, although the idea of abundance, their distribution is not homogeneous and the real need for expansion of power generation presents itself with ever-increasing costs.
