摘要
As mathematics problem-solving is present in all blocks of content throughout primary and secondary education, we studied the performance of a group of students on a "Mathematics applied to social sciences" test which they had completed for the University Entrance Examination at the University of Murcia in September 2009. We analyzed the answers given to each of the ten items in the test, detailed the scores, detected the most significant errors and compared the statistical tests of each issue and block. Our ultimate aim was to elaborate a detailed analysis that may help teachers become aware of how students usually address the problems included in this type of tests.
