Chronic Achilles tendinopathy is a common condition affecting active adults. There are several treatment options for this condition. Recently, platelet-rich plasma injection therapy has become a viable option for those patients failing conservative treatment. This article describes the author's technique in providing platelet-rich plasma treatment from initial evaluation to postinjection follow-up.
