摘要
The present work aims at analyzing textual genres that present themselves in Textbook Portuguese Language (TPL) - "Languages Portuguese 2: Literature. Text Production. Grammar" (Cereja; Magalhaes, 2010) - 2nd year of high school. Besides that, check which genres are more recurrent in TPL and if the activities (suggestions for using) brought about in the book may develop skills and reading and writing skills of the student. Accordingly, still we investigate how to articulation of the textual genres occurs with discursive domains listed by Marcuschi (2008), and which language skills (SL) (DOLZ and SCHNEUWLY, 2004) are the most exploited. In its turn, this analysis falls within the research line of Applied Linguistics - AL, in the theory of genres (text / discourse) is therefore based on advocated approach by Bakhtin (1997); Marcuschi (2002, 2005, 2008); Rojo (2007), among others. At last, we reflect on what it recommends the NCP of Portuguese language, addressed to high school, how to work with genres in the classroom, since for the NCP they characterize important tool pedagogical guidance, especially with regard to objectives and contents of the TPL. However, results point out that not always the genres set out in the book at issue provides the students to comprehension and the production of different genres, watching the social use context.
