The two genera Pleseobyrsa Stal and Stragulotingis Froeschner are reviewed taxonomically with a dorsal habitus drawing of the type-species of each. P. bicincta Monte and P. lichyi Monte are newly transferred to Stragulotingis and two new species are described: P. nigribasis from Colombia and S. englemani from Panama. A short review of known host plants is included. A key to the species of each genus is provided.
