摘要
The importance of media in everyday life increases in the last few years in consequence of the technological change. Media are a basic part of everyday life, and especially for children. At the same time, the differentiation of the range of media products makes it impossible for parents and educators to overlook the use of media of the children. The Institute for applied Children Media Research is a competence centre which meets these challenges. The strong co-operation with libraries opens multifarious opportunities to initiate and support media pedagogical work. In the framework of the main research "Children Media World" the institute works on the history of children media. The main focuses of this work will be introduced in this article.
