摘要
The monitoring and the evaluation of government programs acquired special importance in the management of the public institutions. Those tools are considered an attempt to put in practice the good governance, through principles such as the efficiency in distribution of public resources. In this context, this article analyzes the performance of the central programs of Minas Gerais state government, called Programas Estruturadores operated for the technological and scientific development, with the theoretical perspective of the governmental planning. The need to improve the planning for government programs expenses and physical goals was one of the main results observed in the development of this study.
