摘要
This study investigated the tribometric properties of esters of dicarboxylic acids and their solutions in oil base stocks in a face-friction tester with stepwise loading and a sliding speed of 0. 8 m/sec. The moving specimens were made from bronze; the opposing element was made of Grade 45 steel. In the course of the tests, determinations were made of the maximum load at which conditions of 'wear-free' friction were maintained, as well as the coefficient of friction. The wear was determined from the difference in specimen weights before and after a 5-h test. The results obtained in tests on the lubricity of esters of dicarboxylic acids and their solutions in white mineral oil are presented.
