ENHANCING DIODE-LASER TUNING WITH A SHORT EXTERNAL CAVITY

摘要：
A simple and inexpensive system that extends the continuous tuning range of a diode laser is described. Using this system, virtually any wavelength within a range of several nanometers of the nominal lasing wavelength is accessible. The system's behavior agrees well with that predicted by a semi-theoretical model.
