摘要
It was shown that ozonometry can be used for quantitative analysis of functional groups forming on the surface of glass fibers as a result of the condensation polymerization of silane coupling agents. A setup was built and technique for ozonometric measurements was developed. The method was used to investigate the surface of glass fibers modified by vinyl- acid aminosilanes. Analysis showed that the best results are achieved by treating the surface with vinyltriethoxysilane. It was shown that, in this case, coupling between the glass fibers and the polypropylene matrix and the toughness of polypropylene composites increase.
