摘要
The widespread digital connectivity of children and adolescents is currently an issue in schools and in cases that come before juvenile courts seeking a solution. Cyberbullying is peer harassment through the inappropriate use technological devices and a diversity of applications. This empirical study of 185 cases in the province of Barcelona examines the connection between cyberbullying and traditional bullying, while highlighting the need to raise awareness about these practices and hold bullies accountable by engaging both families and schools. Educational actions in the juvenile justice field address this issue through extrajudicial solutions and, for the most serious cases, by means of educational measures in an open environment.
