The history of cuisine merges with the history of man because the food is present in his life from his birth until his death. Represented in painting, sculpture, photography, food has also aroused the interest of the cinema. If movie is not able to sensitize our palates through the image, it sharpens our appetite and our desire of food. With production increasing over the past three decades, movies have dealt gastronomic food or as a metaphor, metonymy or as well as the relationships and emotions from the act of cooking, with representations of chefs, dishes carefully prepared, techniques kitchen, defense gastronomic heritage, and even of pathologies linked. Thus, the so-called movies or eating food films open up a new field of interest for study and research.
