摘要
Salmonella enteritidis infection was diagnosed in a laying flock in which there was neither a decrease in egg production nor any evidence of other clinical signs. A substantial prevalence of infection was found in eggs. The prerequisite to prevent human infection is an ability to diagnose infection in laying hens.
