摘要
Over the last few years, concerns about the quality and value of for-profit educational programs have been raised. Currently, these programs have a fairly small presence in nursing education, though their presence is growing rapidly. After failures by the regulatory triad-the federal government, state governments, and accreditation agencies-to regulate these programs, reform is now under way. This article discusses the ongoing changes the triad is making and recommends a role for nursing regulators.
