摘要
The importance of a general theory of disease is examined. From a definition of a living organism, postulations are made and the concept of related feedback loops introduced. Organisms are considered as closed sets of negative feedbacks, which is presented as the basis for any theory of pathology on which a theory of medicine is developed.
