摘要
Various studies have shown that green tea has a high number of flavonoids known as catechins, which help in lowering body weight and body fat, and in the prevention and treatment of obesity and related illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular, and dyslipidemia. The objective of this study is to present bibliographic data that support the benefits of supplementing physical exercise with green tea. After studying several articles, one can conclude that regular use of green tea helps in recovering from auto-immune diseases, inhibits the development of certain types of cancer, and brings about significant weight reduction when taken in combination with physical exercise and a balanced diet.
