摘要
The structural strength of steels 55, ShKh15, KhVG, U8, and U10 is studied after a combined treatment consisting of a preliminary hydroextrusion and subsequent boronizing. The optimum parameters of hydroextrusion are established for the steels studied. The structure and properties of specimens of the given steels after hydroextrusion, boronizing, and induction quenching are studied. It is shown that the use of hydroextrusion deformation followed by boronizing provides a substantial increase in the abrasion strength of pin specimens of the hinge pair of a track engine from a tool steel with a simultaneous increase in the deflection and a load up to bending fracture.
