Varying ZSM-5 zeolites with various chemical compositions have been synthesized using a hydrothermal method. The samples were characterized using XRD, FTIR, TG, BET, and SEM. Significant amounts of CO2 have been sorbed under normal temperature and pressure conditions, especially in the case of the high boron content ZSM-5. The consequences of different parameters have been carefully researched and addressed. Increased CO2 adsorption capability in K-ZB-30 > Cs-ZB-30 > Na-ZB-30 > Na-ZB-50 > Na-ZA-50 > Na-ZB-70. The Langmuir and Freundlich models were studied to characterize CO2 interaction types and saturation processes, and a satisfactory agreement with experimental data was observed.
