Problems that have to be solved for adapting a 16-MW gas-turbine unit used as part of a gas turbine-based power station for firing low-grade fuel obtained from gasification of coal in accordance with the technology proposed at the All-Russia Thermal Engineering Institute are considered, and design solutions allowing this adaptation to be made are presented. © 2010 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
