摘要
Deep buried pipeline has become an indispensable transportation manner in modern society due to its excellent concealment and efficiency. However, the pipelines may suffer terrorist attacks and accidental explosions during their service life. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of deep buried pipelines subjected to blast-induced ground shock with ideal conditions are analyzed. A theoretical model is proposed to predict the transverse displacement of infinite pipeline induced by underground explosion. In this model, the buried pipeline is simplified into a beam on elastic foundation and the soil shock caused by underground explosion is applied to the pipe surface. The influences of interaction between soil and pipeline, diameter-to-thickness ratio of pipeline, and distribution characteristic of ground shock on the behaviors of buried pipeline are investigated. The dynamic responses and failure mechanisms of pipeline are simulated using LS-DYNA codes, in which the scaled distance of explosive charge and the geometric parameter of pipeline have been taken into account. The reliabilities and prediction accuracies of presented model are validated by a series of numerical simulations, which reveals that this model is capable to capture the dynamic characteristics of buried pipeline subjected to blast-induced ground shock.
