This paper gives results from experimental studies of the acoustic emission and strain memory effects in anthracite samples under cyclic loading. Trends and regularities were found in the formation and manifestation of the acoustic emission memory effect of coal in nonmonotonic uniaxial tests. © Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. 2006.
