摘要
A numerical model has been developed to estimate the shape of the liquid cone and the resulting jet in presence of external electric field. The model estimates the liquid velocity at the cone surface to calculate the electrical current. The equations of electric potential are solved numerically with an iterative procedure and then continuity and momentum equations solved in a commercial CFD code with electrical body forces. The model is validated by comparing with experimental results.
