摘要
Taking the influence of turning vibration on the turning temperature into consideration, we set up a synchronous signal acquisition system for turning temperature and turning vibration. The time-domain signals of turning temperature and turning vibration near the tool tip at given turning parameters are obtained. According to the test data, the effects of three cutting parameters on turning temperature and three-direction vibration accelerations are analyzed. Five models are developed based on the test data to study the correlations of turning temperature rise with three-direction vibration accelerations and cutting parameters. Based on the least squares method, the regression models of turning temperature rise with turning vibration and cutting parameters are obtained according to the test data in MATLAB software. Results show that the cutting depth has the greatest influence on the turning temperature. Increase of the spindle speeds and feed rates causes an obvious increase of turning temperature. Turning temperature rise has a strong correlation with cutting parameters and turning vibration according to the established regression models, and the obtained correlation coefficients are all greater than 0.8. This also indicates that the regression models can better predict the turning temperature rise variation of the tool during turning process. Furthermore, the established models can provide governing equations for the simulation calculation of turning thermal-vibration coupling problem.
