Fundamental Concepts for Development and Production of Composite Materials

Using theoretical and experimental data, a formal model is proposed for formation of physical contact between any matrix and reinforcing agent of a composite material, and the curve of the cohesive strength at the interface is analytically derived. The fundamental problems in searching for scientific and technical solutions in creating composite materials and manufacturing articles with the required performance properties are formulated.
