The results obtained previously by Nadjafikhah [M. Nadjafikhah, Lie symmetries of inviscid Burgers equation, Adv. Appl. Clifford Alg., vol. 19, 101–112, (2009)] are complemented since a new projectable point symmetry of the inviscid Burgers equation is found.
