摘要
A new approach to improving the damping of pneumatic shock absorbers is described; this method based on active regulation of the gas flow between different volumes of the shock absorber. Research shows that, in seismic conditions, the displacement of a building with such a shock-absorption system is within permissible limits. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2008.
