摘要
Experiments on the processing of natural latex have been performed using an electron accelerator based on the plasma cathode with the grid-stabilized edge of plasma emission and beam exit into the atmosphere. The result of radiation treatment has been assessed as a change in the strength characteristics of rubber samples made from the processed latex after thermal curing. The maximum tensile strength of 21 MPa has been found for the samples received a total dose of about 27 Mrad, values that are promising for the environmentally clean vulcanization of natural rubber latex used for medical purposes.
