摘要
The delamination resistance of carbon fiber–reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites needs to be improved to avoid component failure during service. Based on the establishment and analysis of micro-mechanical model of CFRP, the present work proposes to add various supports to the back of hole-making position to balance the main factor causing delamination defect axial drilling force to improve the delamination resistance of CFRP components. Rubber, plexiglass, aluminum, and stainless steel plates were selected as supports and the corresponding average delamination factors, which were used to measure the drilling defects, were found to be 1.56, 1.19, 1.13, and 1.18, respectively. The results show that adding supports could significantly improve the delamination resistance of CFRP. The results are of great significance to improving the quality of CFRP drilling.
