摘要：
Patienten mit artifizieller Störung können komplexe Krankheitsbilder vortäuschen und multiple Untersuchungen und Behandlungen verursachen. Die von uns vorgestellte Patientin zeigte charakteristische Zeichen und Verhaltensauffälligkeiten dieser psychiatrischen Störung. Der Nutzen der Konfrontation ist bei schweren Fällen umstritten; therapeutisch wirksam kann eine tragfähige Beziehung mit dem Ziel sein, weitere unnütze und riskante Eingriffe zu verhindern.
