摘要
Adsorption of water on solid surfaces is a phenomenon always present at ambient conditions. In the present work, we study adsorption of water on different sites of a Au surface. We combine imaging and acquisition of the force vs. distance curve at different relative humidities to characterise the physics of this process. We find two different sites of adsorption: terraces and grain boundaries, each with typical features.
