摘要
Fundamentals of the classification of electric-power-generation systems of tidal-power plants (TPPs) are considered. Based on an analysis of possible classification features, criteria are proposed that allow one to classify topologies of the reversible and irreversible generator and generator-thyristor systems for TPP electric-power generation. The basic topologies of modern generation systems of tidal-power plants are presented, and it is shown that the most promising system is a direct-generation system based on a synchronous generator and a two-section frequency converter. © 2014 Allerton Press, Inc.
