摘要
In this paper, a simulation modeling was established and analyzed, featuring a different curvature of concave model of 7050-T7451 aluminum alloy using a simulation software ABAQUS. By setting appropriate parameters, the dynamic response and strengthening effect of laser shock processing can be obtained by using ABAQUS software. The magnitude and distribution of residual stress and the generation and deviation of deformation were evaluated. At the same time, the effects of impact pressure, reflection of longitudinal wave, convergence of surface wave, and horizontal components in the concave model were analyzed. According to the simulation and experimental results, when the impact pressure was 1500 MPa, no substantial difference was observed between the magnitude and distribution of residual stress on the surface of each curvature and the plane impact. However, the depth of deformation deviated with the increase in curvature, and the depth of deformation on the generatrix direction of the spot is greater than that on the circumferential direction of the spot. Therefore, when the laser shock strengthening technology was applied to special-shaped and curved surface samples in the actual working condition, the appropriate impact position could be selected according to the characteristics of the concave model to obtain a uniform residual stress distribution and deformation depth, which makes sense.
