Explains the current knowledge regarding the links between diabetes and periodontal disease.Provides information on the main types of diabetes and explains how to interpret blood glucose and glycated haemoglobin values that patients may report to you.Gives practical guidance for the dental team in assessing and managing periodontal status in people with diabetes.
