Potassium decamolybdodiferrate(III) of composition K6[Fe2Mo10O34(OH)4] · 7H2O (compound I) is synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, and powder X-ray diffraction. The crystals of compound I are monoclinic with a = 9.7482 Å, b = 6.5663 Å, c = 7.8453 Å, β = 116.81°, V = 448.15 Å3, ρ = 3.115 g/cm3.
