Nonwovens with antimicrobial properties

摘要：
A new organosilicon modifier was synthesized. The effect of the modifier content on the biocidal and physicomechanical properties of the nonwoven material was investigated. When the content of the product on the fibre increased to 15 wt. %, its physicochemical properties increased. It was found that nonwovens fabricated from a cotton and polyester fibre blend (70:30) treated with the modifier in the amount of 1-3 wt. % has antimicrobial properties.
