In the present paper, we develop the Paley–Wiener Schwartz type theorem for Stockwell transform on compactly supported distribution spaces. Furthermore, utilizing the relationship between the Stockwell transform and the double Fourier transforms established the Paley–Wiener–Schwartz type theorem. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature India Private Limited 2024.
