摘要
Holographic interferometry (HI) technique is used to study the amplitude of vibration of a metal disc when the disc is mechnically vibrated with the help of ultrasonic vibrator. As the applied current to the vibrator changes, the amplitude of vibration of vibrating rod also changes. The disc is exposed to laser radiation before and after applying current. It is noticed that the fringe spacing changes with the current. This effect is due to the change in the amplitude of vibration of metal disc. An attempt has been made to measure the amplitude of vibration of metal disc by HI technique.
