Encryption for multimedia based on chaotic map: Several scenarios

This paper proposes several efficient techniques for multimedia encryption based on a chaotic map. The proposed techniques use four types of chaotic maps and make combinations between them using serial or parallel connections. For all combinations proposed here, several tests are performed for different situations. Based on the application, one of the proposed system is suitable for that application. It also performs greatly and gives good results. Changing the initial condition of the chaotic map is tested and make them related to the encrypted multimedia. The results are compared with the results in case the initial parameters of the chaotic map are constant and not related to the encrypted multimedia where the results in case of varying parameters are promising more than the latter one. Comparing results from this paper with others, it shows high performance and better security for different situations.
