摘要：
Equations of steady-state heat transfer between the main elements of a multipass shell-and-tube heat exchanger are formulated. These equations are solved at an odd number of passes of tube space for the cocurrent and countercurrent flows of the heat-transfer medium in the first pass of tube space and in the intertube space.
