2-Deoxy-α-d-lyxo-hexopyranosides of 18β-glycyrrhetic acid, its 11-deoxo derivative and allobetulin were synthesized by glycosylation of oleonane-type triterpene alcohols withd-galactal acetate in the presence ofN-iodosuccinimide followed by deiodination and deprotection.
