Acoustic field of a point source in water with air bubbles

摘要：
A model problem of sound wave propagation from a point source located in water at the center of a spherical bubble cloud is solved. The resulting dependences of wave attenuation on the sound frequency and bubble concentration are compared with those obtained in the approximation of a quasi-homogeneous medium. The validity limits of this approximation are determined.
