Abstract: The impact of research and development (R & D) financed by the state on the prices of good services is analyzed in macroeconomic terms. Conceptual improvements in assessing the results of research and development are proposed so as to dampen the undesirable consequences of inflation due to the low efficiency of publicly funded development. © 2023, Allerton Press, Inc.
