摘要
The extraction process of As(III) and As(V) compounds from water using the reverse osmosis treatment with membrane ESPA-1 has been studied. The retention coefficient of As(III) was shown to amount to 47–56% in pH interval of 5.2–9.4; as a result, the arsenic concentration in permeate exceeds the drinking water MAC by about 5 times. A hybrid system (photocatalysis-reverse osmosis treatment) was proposed for the effective removal of arsenic compounds from natural waters.
