RUSSIAN METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY - TRENDS IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION

Addressing this important sector of the economy which is steel and which has profound implications on all other sectors, branches and areas of national economy and global economy. Changes in the international market of steel brought to the fibre the important economic actors who play a major role in economic decisions of the world. Among them there is Russia In this article we intend to show trends in the Russian metallurgical industry in the context of economic globalization. Therefore we have conducted a brief analysis of the current situation; with a brief review of the evolution of Russian metallurgy in the period 1965 - 2000, as well as the priorities and problems in the metallurgy of Russia nowadays, considering the impact on global production and metallurgical problems facing Russia's economy and especially metallurgy.
