BER performance of DS-CDMA/EGC system in Nakagami fading channel

摘要
In this paper, performance of DS-CDMA/EGC system over Nakagami fading channel is investigated. By making using of the infinite series proposed by Beaulieu, a closed form of bit error rate (BER) performance for DS-CDMA/EGC system is derived. Numerical results show that the BER performance of DS-CDMA/EGC is inferior to that of DS-CDMA/MRC, generally with a difference of 1-3dB. However, DS-CDMA/EGC is still attractive due to its advantage of lower complexity of receiver compared to DS-CDMA/MRC.
