Experimental investigation on transport properties of nanofluids

摘要
The transient hot-wire method and NXE-1 viscometer are respectively used to measure the thermal conductivity and the apparent viscosity of the nanofluids. The experimental results show that the suspended nanoparticles change the transport properties of the nanofluids. The transport properties of the nanofluids are not only influenced by the volume fraction of nanoparticles, but also by other factors such as properties and dimensions of the nanoparticles. By analyzing the experimental results, a correlation of the thermal conductivity of the nanofluids is presented.
