摘要
The aim in this work is to detect a short-circuit fault between turns on a double-fed induction machine and to know the severity of this fault. It is very important to detect it because the defect is evolutionary. At first, the machine may work, but if nothing is done, this defect may cause the machine to stop or be destroyed. Thus, the proposed approach makes it possible to monitor the windings and to plan the machine maintenance if necessary. The analytical and experimental studies are carried out on an induction machine with a rated power of 0.27 kW and an inter-turn fault from 2.5 to 40% at one phase of the stator winding. The results are promising because the used methodology is simple, fast and efficient.
