摘要
This paper introduces the application of shift-share method (SSM) in the regional industrial structure, and makes empirical analysis based on the data of Ningbo city from 2001-2007. First, the regional industrial structure of Ningbo city was being optimized in different regions with their respective industries by their strongest competition ability. Second, different regional economic growth rates benefited from different industries, and the bigger the size of industries' performance, the more they contributed to the regional economic growth. Finally, industrial competition ability was stronger in Yinzhou and Cixi than in the other regions of Ningbo.
