Dynamics of TCP congestion control scheme for large networks

摘要
This paper investigates the dynamic behavior of TCP congestion control mechanisms. We develop a dynamic model of TCP behavior using fluid-flow. By means of the theory of functional differential equation, we derive a stability condition of TCP congestion control algorithm. Our results suggest that TCP will become unstable for large networks. We present simulation results which validate our conclusion.
